THE YAKULT ALL STARS CHARITY FOOTBALL MATCH RAISED RM 315,000.00 TO HELP RAISE SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FOR THE MALAYSIAN DEAF SPORTS ASSOCIATION (MSDEAF)
27 January 2022, Petaling Jaya – The Yakult All Stars Charity Football match which took place on 11 December 2021 at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, raised funds amounting to RM315,000.00. The match organized by Yakult Malaysia was successfully held to help The Malaysian Deaf Sports Association (MSDeaf) raise funds for sports development.
Shakariki 432” as one of the sponsors of the charity match, contributed to the donation cheque amounting to RM243,700.00, which was handed over to the President of the Malaysian Deaf Sports Association (MSDeaf), Ong Shin Ruenn, in a ceremony held in Petaling Jaya. The amount represents the total proceeds after deducting the overall cost of organising the charity match.
For the record, amongst the local football players who have been involved in the success of the program are Indra Putra Mahayuddin, Zaquan Adha, Syed Adney, Azmi Muslim, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, Nurshamil Abdul Ghani, Razman Roslan, Badhri Mohd Radzi and several others. Also present at the charity match were Japanese football legend Masashi Motoyama, as well as several Japanese players who played in other Malaysian Leagues such as Yuta Suzuki, Yuki Tanigawa, Akira Higashiyama, Bruno Suzuki and Shuhei Fukai.
Shakariki 432” will continue contributing to the community through similar activities.
